V.I.P. Dog Hosting within our home (only child friendly dogs): The dogs will live with us as part of our family.
We are licenced to host up to 3 dogs.
Terms and conditions – Dog walking
1. Payment terms
You agree to make timely payments, within 5 working days of the date of invoice. Late payments will be subjected to a late fee of £1 a day. Non payments after 2 weeks will result in no visits or walks and you will need to make your own arrangements or the care of your pets.
2. Cancellation policy
2.1 If you cancel giving 48 hours notice or more, you will not be charged for the cancelled walk.
2.2 If you cancel giving less than 48 hours notice, you will incur a charge equal to 50% of the charge for the cancelled walk
3. Medical care
3.1 We agree to contact you in the event of an emergency where your pet requires medical treatment.
3.2 You agree to notify us of any and all changes of address, emergency telephone numbers or other information reasonably necessary to contact you in the event of an emergency.
3.3 In case of an emergency, we will use your preferred vets. If your preferred vet is unavailable, we use our discretion to obtain alternative medical attention for your pet.
3.4 You will be responsible for all your pet(s) veterinary costs and we shall not be required to incur these costs on your behalf.
3.5 Your dog(s) must be current with its/their vaccinations and you must inform us in writing if there are any health concerns or which we should be aware.
3.6 Your dog(s) must be on a preventative flea medication and have not been infected within the last 30 days.
3.7 We shall not be obliged to walk any dog(s) which are suffering from any contagious diseases and you will inform us in writing if your dog(s) is suffering from any medical condition of which we should be aware.
3.8 We reserve the right to refuse to walk un-neutered or un-spayed dogs for liability reasons.
4. Extreme Weather or Illness
4.1 Subject to clause 4.2 below, we shall provide the dog walking services regardless of inclement weather.
4.2 In cases of extreme weather, we will make reasonable effort to visit your dog(s). Animals with medical issues will be attended first.
4.3 Should we be unable to visit your dog(s) owing to due to extreme weather, illness or for any other reason, we will contact you using your emergency contact details as soon as possible in order to arrange care.
5. Injury, Risk & Liability
5.1 While we will use all reasonable endeavours to ensure that your pet(s) is not placed in the company of aggressive or violent animals and will immediately remove your pet(s) from any fight with another animal, we shall not be liable for any damage caused should your pet(s) instigate fights with other animals or should your pet(s) be injured by another animal while in our care.
5.2 You acknowledge that even well trained dogs are instinctive and not always controllable by us even when the highest level of care is provided. We shall not be liable should your pet(s) run away and/or injure themselves, cause any damage or injure any third party.
5.3 We shall not be liable for any sickness, disease, theft, death or injury which may be suffered by your pet(s), unless we are found to be negligent.
6. Off-lead Dog(s)
We will only exercise your dog(s) off their leads where you have authorised us in writing that you are happy for us to do so. Should you give such authorisation, such exercise will be provided only in suitable environments such as dog friendly parks (which may be fenced or non-fenced), forest trails, and other dog friendly areas. You acknowledge that even well trained dogs are instinctive and not always controllable by us even when the highest level of care is provided. We shall not be liable should your pet(s) run away and/or injure themselves, cause any damage or injure any third party.
7.1 All rates are subject to change. You will be notified in advance of any rate changes.
7.2 We reserve the right to refuse aggressive dogs or pets that pose a danger to the safety and health of itself, other pets, other people and my associates.
